PATCH NOTES - Episode 6 - November 5th

It's time to show that Gotham's underbelly is bigger and badder than ever with Episode 6: Scoundrels.

Several iconic villains will be making a comeback this Episode, bringing a whole new level of powerful gear, plus a host of Missions and new areas to explore in the Elseworlds.

Episode 6 sees not one, but three villains inspiring the Infamy Set, with Bane, Scarecrow and Two-Face all adding a devastating Tier 4 to their Infamy Sets.

Bane's Hate, Endless Torment and Crime and Punishment all empower you with the ultimate toolkit of each respective villain. Jump into Gotham on an Incursion and try out these new awesome weapons.

In addition to these Infamy sets, The Riddler is getting in on the action with 3 devious Notorious items for you to experiment with.

There's more of Gotham to explore in Episode 6, with missions in the Elseworld expanding to new iconic locations like the Ace Chemicals factory.

Changes and improvements

With the release of Episode 6 we will be implementing several changes aimed mainly at streamlining the loot rewards and existing activities.

• Improved quality of loot received in the earlier Rank Rewards, removing resource rewards and replacing them with more gear and weapons.
• Increased how much time killing an enemy subtracts from the timer to the next Mastery Level in Killing time.
• Decreased the number of tasks in Raising Hell Playlists.
• Added 'Notorious Contracts', which provide a higher quality of reward when completed, but pose a greater challenge.
• Increased likelihood of receiving Legendary Contracts.
• Decreased the Promethium cost to start a Mayhem Mission from 1500 to 1000.
• Increased the Mastery Level offset from +5 to +7, allowing for quicker climbing of Mastery Levels while playing Incursion missions.
• Increased the amount of Episode Rank Points gained from completing Assault Missions and from defeating Patrols or Skirmishes.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed a bug that sometimes caused players who had purchased the Deluxe Edition of the game to not receive the Deluxe Edition bonus content. SSKTJL-9302 
• Fixed a crash that occurred when players entered the Stash after depositing Heat Wave's Molten Coat Traversal Mod. SSKTJL-9314 
• Fixed a bug that sometimes caused players to disconnect from the server when transitioning from single to multiplayer. SSKTJL-1769 
• Fixed a bug that caused error messages to display over AI Squad members during the Demolition Squad mission.
• Fixed a bug that prevented weapons from earning EXP towards Nano-Enhancements during missions.
• Fixed a bug that prevented Green Lantern Infused Tanks from counting towards the relevant Codex entry when destroyed outside of Episode 2.
• Fixed a bug that caused error messages to display over AI Squad members during the Demolition Squad mission.
• Fixed a bug that prevented subtitles from displaying during the conversation between Deadshot and Lawless in the Criminal Records mission.
• Fixed a bug that allowed Lawless to escape from Green Lantern's arena when fighting him in Chapter 4.
• Fixed a bug that caused players to get stuck in the ground after getting their neck bomb detonated and respawning during the Early Release Incursion mission.
• Fixed a visual bug that caused the background image for the first Episode Rank Reward to display incorrectly.
• Gear Set items with unique Status Effects (Scarecrow, Two-Face, Catwoman) now explain the Status Effects in the descriptions.
• Fixed a bug that caused players to unlock additional Codex Entries when leaving a multiplayer session, without having met any more criteria for those Entries.
• Fixed a bug that caused the Augment from Catwoman's Nine Lives to persist even after unequipping the item.
• Fixed a bug whereby Codex Entries were unlocked during the wrong episode.
• Fixed a bug that caused the Become Ungovernable Trinket to unlock without meeting the proper criteria.
• Fixed a bug that prevented the Notorious Lucky Charm 'Fiddler's Fiddle' from dropping in mission rewards.
• Fixed a bug that caused players to disconnect while escorting Lex's Truck in Chapter 4.
• Fixed a bug that caused players to receive an incorrect amount of rewards when finishing Killing Time Incursions. SSKTJL-8318
• Fixed a bug that caused subtitles to keep playing too long after skipping certain cutscenes.
• Fixed a bug that caused enemies to clip inside Corrupted SAM Turrets.
• Fixed a bug that caused players to be stuck in walk mode during missions while a Hit Squad was active.
• Fixed a boundary issue with a cave in the side of the Gotham Elseworld that allowed players to go out of bounds.
• Fixed a bug that caused Rival's name to be obscured during Rival Taunts.
• Fixed a bug whereby the Sandstorm does not start inflicting damage on the player right away.
• Fixed a bug that caused enemies to push certain Elites out of bounds.
• Fixed a bug that caused a transition cinematic to skip during the Episode 5 Mayhem mission.
• Fixed a bug that caused AI Squad members to to hover above characters in a downed pose when reviving them.
• Fixed a bug that caused Harley Quinn's model to clip with characters when she is reviving them. 
• Fixed a bug that caused the wrong Win Pose to preview when trying to preview Captain Boomerang's 'All Wet' Win Pose.
• Fixed a VFX problem that caused Lawless's backpack to obstruct the player's view while aiming down sights.
• Fixed a bug that caused the wrong villain image to display during the lobby screen in Episode 5.
• Fixed a bug with Doctor Phosphorous' Radiating Heat Notorious weapon that caused it to appear as a locked item slot when equipped.
• Fixed a bug whereby players were unable to regain stacks of Rat Pack with Rat Catcher's Rat Pack after 10 stacks had been gained and then lost.
• Fixed a bug with Weather Wizard's Snow Globe whereby it had a placeholder description.
• Fixed a Text-to-Speech issue whereby it refers to the L2 and R2 buttons by the wrong name.
• Fixed a bug in the Gotham Elseworld whereby players could get stuck between two benches.
• Fixed a bug that caused players to respawn in the Dust Storm when they die to its damage.
• Fixed a missing bridge asset linking the two Lexcorp buildings.
• Fixed a bug that caused Combat Assault missions to give the wrong amount of resource rewards.
• Fixed a bug that caused Incursion missions to disappear from the map when exiting and re-entering Episode 5 from the Nexus.
• Fixed a bug that caused a Rooftop Shield to clip with the building it's on in the Episode 5 Killing Time mission.
• Fixed a bug that caused the 'Hit Squad Enemies Remaining' text to display on top of the Weather emblem in Raising Hell.
• Fixed a bug that caused Brainiac's dialogue to not play when in a long play session.
• Fixed a bug that sometimes caused players to not receive XP for killing enemies while on a mission.
• Fixed a bug that caused enemies to fail to spawn during the Dockside Rumble mission in Chapter 2.
• Fixed a bug in the Episode 5 Mayhem mission that caused the distraction truck to disappear without playing the proper ending animation.
• Fixed a bug that caused characters to be in the wrong location during cutscenes.
• Epic Games Store - Fixed a bug that caused thumbnails for certain Outfit packs in the Store to not load.
• Epic Games Store - Fixed a bug that prevented players from disbanding their Epic Games Store Party after a Squad invite has been accepted.
