Game won’t start + long loading time

    I can’t help you, but I can confirm that the exact same thing is happening to me. I did uninstall and reload my game, but nothing has changed.

    I mean, I tried restarting my phone, uninstalling and redownloading the game, and nothing worked.

    I've tried the Crash Troubleshooting steps, including a reinstall.

    I cannot get into the game after installing the most recent update.

    It sits on the opening load screen and doesn't progress to the game.xa0 I've let it sit for a half-hour with no results.

    Update - was able to launch the game by launching it directly from Google Play.  Trying to do so from the app icon was not successful.

    I would like to validate this issue. I am on android and stuck on the loading screen with the 'please wait' status. I have tried the following.

    xa0

    • Deleting Cache
    • Deleting Data (this does not proceed for some reason, the settings just gets stuck at recalculating data)
    • Deleting the game (the game can't be deleted when you tried deleting the data)
    • Restarted the phone
    • Can delete the game after restart, did not risk trying to delete the data first
    • Reinstalled
    • Nothing happens.xa0
    • Launched from Google play, still the same.xa0
    • I can't play the game at the moment

    So apparently after forcing me to update my app last night, I'm still dealing with the fact that I can't get past the persistent data loading.
    Tried all sorts to fix this to no avail.
    I even had to had reset my phone. Cleared caches, updated my Google play games, deleted and re-installing but it's all zero. I kept blowing away more data than I can imagine. What's the tech doing about this issue already?
    What's the compensation for all these inconveniences here and there?
    If an app gotta be rolled out to production it has to be tested to be sure it works on all devices supported before forcing us to update. I updated and I'm now in this mess

    I'm having the same issue.  The hero page, store, challenges, events, etc load up empty boxes and text with no images.  The void scanner is a completely black screen with "downloading content" in the bottom right corner over the back button so you can't even exit without force closing the game.

     

    I was able to play a little, but actually getting a match to load was unreliable.  I tried deleting the data, since the game was up to 2.9GB already (I delete every few months) and it is stuck at about 50% download of the 20.2mb portion of the initial download.

    I'm also having this problem. At the time of the daily reboot it works for about 5 minutes then at some point it freezes and when I reload the game it stays on the title screen. If I'm lucky I can get it working one more time during the day but I'm still not getting my rewards. This has been persistent for almost a week.
