In the 3.0 version of Injustice 2, we’re making some tweaks to the number of shards required for Arkham Knight Batman and any future Legendary heroes to make it easier for players to advance them to 5 stars.
Originally, a Legendary character required 550 shards to advance to 5 stars, and then 400 shards to advance to 6 stars. This meant getting an additional Legendary left a player short 100 shards from the next star.
The new values will be 450 to advance to 5 stars and 450 to advance to 6 stars.
To compensate players who have already advanced their Arkham Knight Batman in the old system, all players who already have an Arkham Knight Batman will receive 100 shards in their inbox, regardless of star level. Players who already own an Arkham Knight Batman may have received their shards in 2.8.1, if not, they will receive them in 3.0.
Additionally, the rarity of Legendary characters made them difficult to advance to higher star levels. To help them compete with 5 & 6 star Golds, Legendary heroes will receive more of their total stats allocation at 4 star. As a result, Arkham Knight Batman owners will see a large increase in stats with this update.
And finally, Arkham Knight Batman has received a rework and buffs to his abilities. It should be noted that one of the buffs is changing his class to Agility, to counter a rise in strong Metahuman heroes such as The Flash and be less vulnerable to the strong anti-Tech heroes that exist.
