If you’re experiencing difficulties with any game in the Batman: Arkham Trilogy collection, then these troubleshooting steps may help.
Restart the Switch
Sometimes restarting your Nintendo Switch can resolve technical issues in your game. To do so, hold down the power button for at least 3 seconds. You’ll see a menu appear. Select “Power Options” and then “Restart”.
If your Nintendo Switch isn’t responding, then you can hold down the power button for 12 seconds. After that time the device will restart automatically.
System Update
Check to see if your Nintendo Switch has an update available. First, select “System Settings” in the device’s HOME. Scroll down to select “System”, and then “System Update”. If your Switch has an available update then it’ll begin updating.
Game Update
From the HOME screen, select the game in the trilogy you’re experiencing difficulties with and hit “+”. From there select “Software Update” and then “Via the Internet”. If an update for the selected game is available, it’ll start downloading now. Remember, this will take up additional memory on your hard drive or SD card, and you may need to clear space if more memory is required.
Check for Corrupt Data
Sometimes data may corrupt over time, causing issues while trying to play games. Go to the Switch’s HOME menu and select “System Settings”. On the left side of the screen, select “Data Management”. Then select “Manage Software” and then select the game from the Batman: Arkham Trilogy that you’re experiencing issues with. Choose “Check for Corrupt Data”, and your device will look for any data corruption issues with the selected game.
